"ROARING & PURRING"
Artists are invited to participate in the exhibit "Roaring & Purring" at the Solovei Art Gallery in August 1 - 29, '08.

The theme is CATS of all kind, domesticated and wild, from Florida Panthers to Turkish Angoras. Welcome artists of all media! Send digital images (JPEG, down-sized to 500 pix one dimension) to lyussy@earthlink.net.

Please write "R&P" in the subject line of your e-mail. The entries are limited to 4 from each artist, the deadline is July 5th, 2008. All originals must be for sale, agreements and presentation requirements will be mailed upon acceptance of the entries. Commission of 45% from sales will be divided evenly between the Solovei Art Gallery and the Everett Animal Shelter.

"US CITIZENSHIP: I VOTE, THEREFORE I AM"
Artists with political opinions, expressed in art, are invited to display and sell their works at the Sisters Restaurant during September 7 - November 2, 2008 period. Works will be judged on the bases of artistry, as well as political input, clearness of the message.

Works, containing elements of bigotry, racism, or insult won't be accepted, otherwise, curator is open-minded and fair to all political groups, parties and non-partisan' voices. Limit of entries will be determined close to the deadline: August 9th, 2008. Send digital images (JPEG, down-sized to 500 pix one dimension) to lyussy@earthlink.net.

Commission from sales is 30% (you may submit NFS originals this time - indicate that with your entry). Please notice, that only wall-display suitable art works will be accepted for showing at the restaurant.
 

"FOUR SEASONS"
This is the theme for traditional Holiday Group Art Exhibit at the Sisters Restaurant in 2008. Artists submissions should reflect the essences of winter, spring, summer, and autumn, regardless the genre (landscape, still-life, portrait, or abstract) or style (representative, or abstract). Send digital images (JPEG, down-sized to 500 pix one dimension) to

Please write "Seasons" in the subject line of your e-mail. Agreements and presentation requirements will be mailed upon acceptance of the entries. There is a flat entry fee of $20, with the limit of the entries to 4 from each artist. Commission from sales is 30%. Because of the Holidays time, I allow release of the sold art works to the buyers, with a possibility of replacement of the sold piece from the same artists (there is no extra fees for that).

The "Four Seasons" runs from November 2, '08, through January 4, '09. The deadline for entries is October 15th, '08. Please notice, that only wall-display suitable art works will be accepted for showing at the restaurant.
 

"TREES ARE US"
Artists are invited to participate in an art exhibit at the Solovei Art Gallery during December 1 - 29, 2008. The theme is the trees, tree gardens, forest. All media is welcome. Artists, working in wood carving media are encouraged to submit their works.

Artists are invited to participate in an art exhibit "It's Raining Men" at the Solovei Art Gallery during February, 2009. The theme is the male gender: the figure, character, modern image of a man.
